Pending OH DOI provider authorization

Ohio Life + Accident & Health Combined Prelicensing (40-Hour)

This 40-hour internet self-study prelicensing course is prepared for Ohio Department of Insurance (ODI) provider authorization under OAC 3901-5-06 and course approval under OAC 3901-5-07. Enrollment, payment, certificates, completion reporting, and any Ohio prelicensing-credit claim remain closed until written ODI provider authorization and course-specific written approval are on file.

Audience

Ohio Life + Accident & Health insurance license candidates

After OH DOI approval, this course is intended for Ohio resident producer candidates pursuing both the Life and Accident & Health major lines. Per OAC 3901-5-07(F) the provider issues two 20-hour completion certificates (one Life, one A&H) so students may sit standalone or combined PSI exams. Until written approval is posted, students who need credit must use a provider already authorized by ODI.

Certificates

No Ohio credit before written approval

Certificate templates, completion-reporting workflows, and ODI Gateway-style export controls are staged, but official certificates, completion reporting, and any Ohio prelicensing-credit claim stay disabled until written ODI provider authorization and course-specific written approval are received and the course is intentionally opened. ORC 3905.01 et seq. prohibits acting as an Ohio insurance agent without an active ODI-issued license.

40-hour Ohio DOI credit-hour package — 8 sequential lessons covering ORC Chapter 3905, 3911, 3915, 3917, 3923, 3924, and OAC 3901-5-13 best-interest annuity standards

Delivery follows the OAC 3901-5-07(F) internet self-study structure: sequential lessons with forced progression, active seat-time tracking on every lesson, identity verification, embedded knowledge checks, final-exam affidavit, and a randomized 100-question course final exam with 70% passing score per Ohio prelicensing standards. PSI Ohio Life and Health examinations are administered at PSI test centers (no remote-proctored option as of March 10, 2026).

Review gates

What must happen before launch

The public page is intentionally approval-dependent. It documents readiness without suggesting that the course is already approved, open, or usable for an Ohio licensing requirement.

Qualified insurance subject-matter review of Ohio law cards, rationales, examples, and final exam alignment
ODI provider authorization under OAC 3901-5-06 ($100 provider + $200/course + $25/subject + $25/instructor = $350 minimum for one line)
Course-specific written ODI approval before checkout, enrollment, certificates, reporting, or credit claims
Planned post-approval tuition: $159.99 planned after OH DOI approval
Candidates must verify current PSI Ohio Candidate Information Bulletin parameters (question count, time limit, scoring rules) on test day; the current bulletin always controls
As of March 10, 2026, OH insurance exams are in-person only at a PSI test center; no remote-proctored option

Price-Match Review

Found a lower public price? We will match it.

If you find a lower current public price for a comparable online prep course, send it for manual review before you pay.

Request a price match
If you find a lower current public price for a comparable online prep course with an equivalent practice bank, submit the details before payment for manual review.
Free resources, guides, PDFs, videos, partial simulators, private coupons, expired promotions, bundles, and nonequivalent formats are not included.
The request must include a public verifiable competitor URL that a reviewer can open in an incognito window with no logged-in session, no affiliate code, no coupon code, and no private parameter. Screenshots without a URL, private links, login-gated pages, and bot-scraped prices are not accepted.
Free resources, free government courses, guides, PDFs, videos, forums, partial simulators, study materials, offers without a comparable certificate, offers without comparable reporting, and nonequivalent course formats are not equivalent paid offers for price matching.
The quoted price must be live and publicly available at the time National Course Portal's reviewer opens the URL. If the price changed, expired, or disappeared between submission and review, the request is closed without a match.
Aggregate per-student cap: no more than 2 price matches will be approved for the same student, account, email address, or payment method within any rolling 365-day window, summed across all courses.
Approved matches are valid for 48 hours from the approval notification. If the student does not complete checkout inside that window, the quote expires and a new request with a current verifiable public price is required.
