Course purpose
Bilingual online 4-hour course satisfying Delaware's ongoing long-term care producer training — the 4 hours of LTC training required in each 24-month period after the 8-hour initial training (the NAIC Model long-term care training standard adopted for Delaware's Qualified State Partnership (16 Del. Admin. Code 20000-20345)). It reviews LTC policy provisions and consumer protections, inflation protection and nonforfeiture, suitability and replacement, and the federal-state Partnership framework — then the Delaware Qualified State Long-Term Care Insurance Partnership, the dollar-for-dollar asset disregard, and Delaware Medicaid (Diamond State Health Plan; the long-term care line is Diamond State Health Plan-Plus) (administered by the Division of Medicaid and Medical Assistance (DMMA), under the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS)), with the Unfair Practices in the Insurance Business law (18 Del. C. §§ 2301 to 2316) and Delaware Department of Insurance discipline (18 Del. C. ch. 17) — with lesson knowledge checks, a final exam, a certificate, and CE reported to the Department through Sircon.

Bilingual access
The public information and core learning path are available in English and Spanish.
