Bilingual online 3-hour the District of Columbia insurance producer ethics CE - the ethics requirement of the District of Columbia's producer continuing education (24 hours of continuing education per two-year license period, consisting of 21 general hours and 3 hours of ethics; DCMR § 26-A106). It covers the producer's fiduciary duty and standard of conduct; the District's unfair trade practices law (D.C. Code § 31-2231.01 et seq.) (misrepresentation, twisting, rebating, unfair claim settlement); the annuity suitability standard (DCMR § 26-A8404); replacement, suitability, privacy, and conflicts of interest; insurance fraud; and the District of Columbia Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking (DISB) producer licensing and discipline (D.C.
