Eight-hour internet self-study prelicensing course (8.0 clock hours for the Personal Lines line under Rule 120-2-3-.08) for the Georgia Personal Lines producer license under O.C.G.A. Title 33. Seven sequential lessons covering personal-lines fundamentals (risk/peril/hazard, the insurance contract, policy structure, ACV/replacement cost, coinsurance, indemnity, subrogation), the Georgia P&C regulatory core under O.C.G.A. Title 33 (cancellation/nonrenewal 33-24-44/33-24-45, rate regulation Chapter 33-9, binders 33-24-33, the Georgia Insurers Insolvency Pool Chapter 33-36), dwelling and homeowners coverage (DP/HO forms, Coverages A-F, named-peril vs. open-peril, the flood/earthquake exclusion and NFIP gap, personal liability and medical payments, endorsements and the mortgagee clause), the Georgia property overlay (the FAIR Plan / Georgia Underwriting Association under O.C.G.A. 33-33), personal auto (the Personal Auto Policy / PAP Parts A-F, who is an insured, Collision vs. Other-Than-Collision physical damage, rating and discounts, and key endorsements including ride-share and gap), personal inland marine / scheduled personal property (the Personal Articles Floater), watercraft and recreational vehicles, flood (the NFIP and the surface-water boundary with its 30-day waiting period), and the Georgia casualty/auto framework (Georgia as an AT-FAULT tort state with NO no-fault/PIP, the 25/50/25 minimum limits and financial responsibility under O.C.G.A. 33-7-11 and Title 40 Chapter 9, UM/UIM, and the O.C.G.A. 33-9-42 defensive-driving discount). Concludes with a monitored 100-question final exam (90 minutes, 70% passing). The separate Pearson VUE Georgia Personal Lines exam is taken after this course.
