Course purpose
Bilingual online 3-hour Idaho insurance producer ethics CE - the ethics requirement of Idaho's producer continuing education (24 hours of continuing education per two-year period, including 3 hours of ethics; Idaho Code § 41-1013 / IDAPA 18.06.04). It covers the producer's fiduciary duty and standard of conduct; the Idaho Trade Practices and Frauds law (Idaho Code Title 41, Chapter 13; unfair claim settlement practices § 41-1329) (misrepresentation, twisting, rebating, unfair claim settlement); the annuity best-interest standard and its four obligations of care, disclosure, conflict of interest, and documentation (Idaho Code § 41-1940C); replacement, suitability, privacy, and conflicts of interest; insurance fraud; and the Idaho Department of Insurance producer licensing and discipline (Idaho Code Title 41, Chapter 10) - with lesson knowledge checks, a final exam, a certificate, and CE reporting.
