Course purpose
Idaho's ongoing long-term care producer training - the four hours of LTC training required in each 24-month period after the 8-hour initial training (IDAPA 18.04.11). It reviews LTC policy provisions and consumer protections, inflation protection and nonforfeiture, suitability and replacement, the federal-state Partnership framework, and Idaho Medicaid (administered by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare (DHW), Division of Medicaid), with the Idaho Trade Practices and Frauds law (Idaho Code Title 41, Chapter 13; unfair claim settlement practices § 41-1329) (Idaho Code Title 41, Chapter 13) and the Idaho Department of Insurance discipline (Idaho Code Title 41, Chapter 10) - with lesson knowledge checks, a final exam, a certificate, and CE reporting. Delivered as a bilingual online 4-hour course.
