Bilingual online 3-hour Montana insurance producer ethics CE - the ethics requirement of Montana's producer continuing education (24 hours of continuing education per 24-month period, including at least 3 hours of ethics and at least 1 hour on changes in Montana insurance statutes and rules; MCA 33-17-1203). It covers the producer's fiduciary duty and standard of conduct; the Montana Unfair Trade Practices Act (MCA Title 33, Chapter 18; unfair claim settlement practices MCA 33-18-201) (misrepresentation, twisting, rebating, unfair claim settlement); the annuity best-interest standard and its four obligations of care, disclosure, conflict of interest, and documentation (MCA 33-20-807); replacement, suitability, privacy, and conflicts of interest; insurance fraud; and the Montana Commissioner of Securities and Insurance (CSI), Office of the Montana State Auditor producer licensing and discipline (MCA Title 33, Chapter 17) - with lesson knowledge checks, a final exam, a certificate, and CE reporting.
