Course purpose
Bilingual online 4-hour course satisfying Nevada's ongoing long-term care producer training - the four hours of LTC training required in each 24-month period after the 8-hour initial training (NAC 687B.051 et seq.). It reviews LTC policy provisions and consumer protections, inflation protection and nonforfeiture, suitability and replacement, and the federal-state Partnership framework - then the Nevada Qualified State Long-Term Care Insurance Partnership Program, the dollar-for-dollar asset disregard, and Nevada Medicaid (administered by the Division of Health Care Financing and Policy, DHCFP), with the Unfair Trade Practices Act (NRS 686A) and Division discipline (NRS 683A) - with lesson knowledge checks, a final exam, a certificate, and CE reported to the Nevada Division of Insurance through Sircon.
