Course purpose
Bilingual online 4-hour course satisfying New Mexico's ongoing long-term care producer training - the at-least-4-hours-per-compliance-period LTC CE required by 13.4.7.10.C NMAC after the 8-hour initial training. It reviews LTC policy provisions and the consumer protections of NMSA 1978, Chapter 59A, Article 23A and 13.10.15 NMAC, inflation and nonforfeiture benefits, and the federal-state Partnership framework grounded in the DRA 2005 and IRC § 7702B - then the New Mexico Qualified State Long-Term Care Insurance Partnership Program (NMSA 1978 § 59A-23A-12; producer disclosure § 59A-23A-13), the dollar-for-dollar Medicaid asset disregard, New Mexico Medicaid ('Turquoise Care') administered by the New Mexico Health Care Authority, the Trade Practices and Frauds article (NMSA 1978 § 59A-16) with OSI discipline (§ 59A-11-14), and senior-consumer protection - with lesson knowledge checks, a final exam, a certificate, and CE reported to the OSI through the provider.
