Course purpose
Bilingual online 4-hour course satisfying North Dakota's ongoing long-term care producer training - the 4 hours of LTC training required in each 24-month period after the initial training (N.D. Admin. Code ch. 45-06-05.1 (NDID Bulletins 2007-03 and 2013-1)). It reviews LTC policy provisions and consumer protections, inflation protection and nonforfeiture, suitability and replacement, and the federal-state Partnership framework - then the North Dakota Long-Term Care Partnership Program and the dollar-for-dollar asset disregard, and North Dakota Medicaid (administered by the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services (ND HHS), Medical Services Division), with the unfair trade practices law (N.D.C.C. ch. 26.1-04 (Prohibited Practices; §§ 26.1-04-02 and 26.1-04-03)) and producer discipline (N.D.C.C. § 26.1-26-42 (Chapter 26.1-26)) - with lesson knowledge checks, a final exam, a certificate, and CE reported to North Dakota Insurance Department through the NAIC State Based Systems (SBS).
