Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) Course Information

Review the Physician-Led OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) Annual Training course information, education-only boundaries, acceptance guidance, timing rules, certificate controls, and public tuition before enrolling.

Course purpose

Emergency physician-led OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens training covering the required elements of 29 CFR 1910.1030(g)(2)(vii) — the standard and your Exposure Control Plan, HBV, HCV and HIV, universal precautions, engineering and work-practice controls, PPE, the free hepatitis B vaccine, exposure incidents and confidential post-exposure evaluation, biohazard labeling and regulated waste, and an interactive question-and-answer element; complements your employer's site-specific training. This bilingual online course includes a completion certificate.

Acceptance responsibility

There is no single national approval body for this type of education course. If a court, officer, employer, school, or agency assigned the course, confirm that they accept an online certificate course before paying or relying on completion.

Before-purchase review materials

Students can share the course name, About 1 hour (self-paced) length, curriculum preview, published price, education-only boundaries, and verification details before paying.

Education-only boundary

Not medical, legal, or professional advice, and not a substitute for your employer's site-specific training, written exposure control plan, or any program required by your employer, a regulator, or a supervising authority. Not OSHA-certified, not an OSHA Outreach (10/30) card, and not a promise that any employer, regulator, or authority will accept the certificate. Provides the general bloodborne-pathogens instruction required by 29 CFR 1910.1030(g)(2), but does not replace your employer's site-specific Exposure Control Plan, worksite-specific exposure determination, hepatitis B vaccination program, or post-exposure medical evaluation — your employer must supplement this course with those site-specific elements. Not OSHA-certified and not an OSHA Outreach (10/30) card.

Course timing

The course requires About 1 hour (self-paced) total. Lessons are completed online in sequence, and active course time is measured before the certificate can be issued.

Certificate requirements

A certificate is available after the student completes the course sequence, satisfies identity and seat-time controls, and passes the final review.

Bilingual access

The public information and core learning path are available in English and Spanish.

Price-match review

The posted tuition is $14.95. If a student finds a lower current public price for a comparable online certificate course, the request can be reviewed for a price match before purchase.

Support route

Support is handled by FAQ and email. A public phone number is not displayed unless a controlling rule requires one.
