PPE Basics Course Information

Review the Physician-Led Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Basics course information, education-only boundaries, acceptance guidance, timing rules, certificate controls, and public tuition before enrolling.

Course purpose

A 4-hour bilingual online education course. Topics include emergency physician-led injury-prevention training covering the hierarchy of controls, eye, face, head, hand, foot, hearing, and respiratory protection awareness, plus PPE inspection, fit, replacement, and OSHA 29 CFR 1910 Subpart I concepts that complement employer site-specific training. A completion certificate is included.

Acceptance responsibility

This course provides general online education. If an employer, supervisor, privacy or safety officer, client, licensing board, or agency requested it, confirm that they accept this certificate and whether they also require site-specific policies, orientation, or training before paying or relying on completion.

Before-purchase review materials

Students can share the course name, 4 hours / 240 minutes length, curriculum preview, published price, education-only boundaries, and verification details before paying.

Education-only boundary

Not legal advice, medical advice, therapy, crisis care, addiction treatment, or a substitute for any program specifically required by a court, agency, employer, school, or supervising authority. Not a promise that any court, probation office, employer, school, agency, or licensing body will accept the certificate. Complements OSHA 10/30, employer PPE programs, and career-readiness programs but is not OSHA-certified, not an OSHA Outreach course, not respiratory-protection medical clearance or fit-testing certification, not job-specific competent-person training, and not authorization to operate equipment requiring specialized licensing. This course does not replace employer policies, risk analysis, a written exposure control plan, site-specific training, medical evaluation, or legal advice.

Course timing

The course requires 4 hours / 240 minutes total. Lessons are completed online in sequence, and active course time is measured before the certificate can be issued.

Certificate requirements

A certificate is available after the student completes the course sequence, satisfies identity and seat-time controls, and passes the final review.

Bilingual access

The public information and core learning path are available in English and Spanish.

Price-match review

The posted tuition is $28.99. If a student finds a lower current public price for a comparable online certificate course, the request can be reviewed for a price match before purchase.

Support route

Support is handled by FAQ and email. A public phone number is not displayed unless a controlling rule requires one.
