Course purpose
Three-hour bilingual ethics CE for Tennessee-licensed insurance producers, sourced to T.C.A. Title 56: Chapter 8 § 56-8-104 (unfair trade practices — misrepresentation, rebating, twisting, unfair claim settlement), Chapter 6 § 56-6-112 / § 56-6-125 (producer licensing, discipline, and unfair practices), Chapter 42 (long-term care), and Tenn. Comp. R. & Regs. 0780-01-86 (annuity best interest, NAIC 2020 model). Tennessee requires 24 CE hours per biennium including 3 ethics hours; CE is administered by the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance (TDCI).
