Course purpose
Tennessee's ongoing Long-Term Care Partnership producer training, the refresher after the 8-hour initial training. It reviews the LTC policy provisions and consumer protections of T.C.A. Title 56, Chapter 42 (Long-Term Care Insurance Act, § 56-42-109), inflation and nonforfeiture benefits, and the federal-state Partnership framework grounded in the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 (DRA 2005) and IRC § 7702B - then Tennessee's State Long-Term Care Partnership Program under Tenn. Comp. R. & Regs. 0780-01-61, the dollar-for-dollar Medicaid asset disregard administered by TennCare (the Division of TennCare), unfair trade practices under T.C.A. § 56-8-104 with § 56-6-112 / § 56-6-125 discipline, and senior-consumer protection - with lesson knowledge checks, a final exam, a certificate, and CE reporting to Tennessee (the TDCI) through the provider. Delivered as a bilingual online 4-hour course.
