TDI-approved — Course #148263

Texas TDI Adjuster Course Information

Review the Texas All-Lines Adjuster prelicensing course information, statutory alignment under Tex. Ins. Code Ch. 4101 and 28 TAC §§19.1009–19.1017, approval status, seat-time rules, final exam controls, tuition, and support before relying on this course for any Texas adjuster licensing credit.

Texas TDI approval

This course is TDI-approved under 28 TAC §§19.1009 and 19.1010 — Texas Department of Insurance Course #148263, approved 2026-07-01, under Provider No. 242850. Enrollment, payment, certificate issuance, and completion reporting to TDI/Sircon are open.

40-hour seat-time requirement

Texas requires 40 creditable hours of TDI-approved prelicensing instruction for an adjuster prelicensing course under 28 TAC §19.1009. The course enforces active seat-time tracking under TIC §4004; the course final remains locked until all lessons and the full 40-hour seat-time requirement are satisfied.

Exam-exemption pathway

TDI's all-lines adjuster instructions state that a completed TDI-approved adjuster course or training program within the last 12 months can remove the need to take the external licensing exam. Course completion is still not a license: the candidate must submit the license application, complete fingerprint/background requirements when applicable, and receive written license issuance from TDI before adjusting claims for compensation in Texas.

Classroom-equivalent online delivery

The 40-hour course is delivered as TDI-approved classroom-equivalent (interactive, self-paced online) instruction — 40 classroom-equivalent hours, 0 live and 0 self-study — with 8 sequential lessons, active seat-time tracking, classroom-equivalent inquiry controls, a TDI §19.1018-aligned course final (150 questions, 70% passing, 150-minute limit), and bilingual EN/ES support.

Course does not authorize adjuster activity

This course does not authorize the holder to act as a Texas All-Lines Adjuster. Tex. Ins. Code Ch. 4101 prohibits adjusting claims in Texas for compensation without an active TDI-issued adjuster license.

Tuition

$189.99 for individual online enrollment, with The 90 Club™ rebate included (up to $20.00 rebate after earning 90% or above on the first final-exam attempt, net $169.99).
