Course purpose
Bilingual online 4-hour course satisfying Virginia's ongoing Long-Term Care Partnership producer training, required every 24 months after the initial training, with 2 Virginia-specific hours. It teaches the LTC policy provisions and consumer protections of 14VAC5-200, inflation and nonforfeiture benefits, and the federal-state Partnership framework grounded in the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 (DRA 2005) and IRC § 7702B - then the Virginia State LTC Partnership Program under 14VAC5-200-205, the dollar-for-dollar Medicaid asset disregard administered by DMAS through the local DSS, unfair trade practices under Code of Va. § 38.2-502 / § 38.2-509 / § 38.2-512 / § 38.2-1831, and senior-consumer protection - with lesson knowledge checks, a final exam, a certificate, and CE reporting to Virginia through the provider.
