Full rebate terms
  • This optional plan applies only to the separate $29.99 checkout plan labeled Mastery Rebate Plan while that exact plan is publicly offered for this course.
  • The standard $4.99 checkout, price-match purchases, hardship or waiver purchases, private discounts, coupons, free access, duplicate accounts, support upgrades, mailed certificates, and any other add-ons do not qualify.
  • The student must complete the course in the same account that purchased the Mastery Rebate Plan, including identity setup, required active course time, all lessons, final review, certificate release, and any required course notices.
  • Only the first submitted final review attempt counts for the rebate threshold. Retakes, admin resets, changed answers, corrected submissions, or later higher scores do not create eligibility.
  • The first final review score must be 90% or higher. The platform's stored score, timing, identity, payment, support, and certificate records are the controlling records for review.
  • The rebate is never automatic and is not an entitlement. It is reviewed manually and may be issued, reduced, delayed, or denied after the owner/admin checks the course, payment, identity, timing, exam, certificate, and support records.
  • A student may request rebate review through the course support path within 30 days after certificate release. Missing, late, incomplete, abusive, or unverifiable requests may be denied, though the owner/admin may choose to review a record without a request.
  • The maximum rebate is the lesser of $15.00, the amount paid above the $14.99 retained tuition, and the remaining Stripe-refundable balance. With the maximum rebate, the student's net tuition is $14.99, which is lower than the standard $4.99 checkout.
  • The rebate applies only to eligible tuition actually paid for the Mastery Rebate Plan. It excludes taxes, processor or platform fees, support upgrades, mailed certificate fees, court or agency fees, chargeback fees, bank fees, third-party fees, and any amount already refunded, credited, discounted, waived, disputed, reversed, or not collected.
  • No rebate can create cash value, account credit, transferable value, a refund larger than the amount actually paid, or a refund to any payment method other than the original payment method allowed by the payment processor.
  • A record is not eligible if there is a chargeback, payment dispute, payment reversal, failed refund, suspected fraud, account sharing, identity mismatch, automation, manipulation of timing or exam records, duplicate account use, abusive conduct, policy violation, or certificate revocation concern.
  • Only one mastery rebate may be issued per student, account, purchase, and course completion. The rebate cannot be stacked with price matches, coupons, hardship waivers, private discounts, free access, refunds, credits, or any other promotion.
  • This plan does not promise certificate acceptance, court acceptance, employer acceptance, agency approval, a passing score, a specific outcome, or that the student will receive any legal, employment, disciplinary, or case benefit.
  • The standard refund policy continues to apply. Students who do not meet every plan condition remain subject to the normal refund policy and are not owed a mastery rebate.
  • Issued rebates are submitted to the original payment method when processor rules and available refundable balance allow. Bank posting times, failed refunds, expired cards, closed accounts, insufficient Stripe balance, processor restrictions, and issuer handling are outside National Course Portal's control.
  • The program may be changed, paused, or ended for future purchases. The terms shown at the time of purchase control that purchase unless applicable law, payment-network rules, processor rules, or a written owner/admin correction requires a different result.
  • This plan is not a money-back guarantee, satisfaction guarantee, pass guarantee, guaranteed-rebate offer, or guaranteed-outcome promotion. It is a discretionary, manually reviewed partial rebate program with specific eligibility conditions that may be denied at the sole discretion of the owner/admin.

Who this helps

WV Mandated Reporter

West Virginia employees and volunteers who work with children, patients, students, families, or vulnerable populations.

Hospitals, clinics, schools, counties, child-serving nonprofits, youth programs, and staffing teams that need bulk training records.

Organizations that already know free official training exists but want a short bilingual annual, onboarding, or refresher record with completion tracking.

For requesting parties

Clear details to share before purchase

Free official WV mandated-reporter resources may be the right choice when an organization only needs content. This course is for paid assignment, certificate, and roster support.

Certificate lists the 1-hour duration, learner identity, completion date, statutory topic, and verification details.

Bulk seats can be assigned by an employer while official reporting channels and internal escalation remain under employer policy.

Lesson 1: Who must report in West Virginia

Identify the kinds of roles that can trigger mandated-reporter duties and why role-based assumptions are risky.

Lesson 2: Reasonable suspicion and warning signs

Recognize common facts that can create a reporting concern without turning staff into investigators.

Lesson 3: The 24-hour reporting deadline

Use the statutory deadline as an action rule and distinguish official reporting from internal notice.

Lesson 4: What to report and document

Prepare useful information for the official report while avoiding delay.

Lesson 5: Confidentiality, retaliation, and good-faith action

Protect the child, the reporter, and the record after a concern has been reported.

Lesson 6: Workplace action plan

Turn the course into a practical plan for reports, records, and refresher training.

Acceptance

Confirm acceptance before payment

If a court, officer, employer, school, attorney, or agency asked you to take a course, confirm that they accept an online certificate course before purchasing. This site does not promise universal acceptance.

Important limits

Education course, not treatment or legal advice

Not legal advice, emergency response, CPS intake, clinical training, licensing-board approval, or a substitute for an employer's official reporting policy.

Not a promise that any employer, school, hospital, agency, court, or licensing body will accept the certificate without separate review.

Learners must use official West Virginia reporting channels and emergency law enforcement procedures when required.

Not meant to replace no-cost official mandated-reporter training when that already satisfies the employer's content and recordkeeping needs.

If you or someone you know is in crisis or immediate danger, contact emergency services or an appropriate crisis-support resource immediately.
