South Carolina alcohol server training

South Carolina Alcohol Server Training

4-hour online alcohol server training information for South Carolina on-premises alcohol servers and managers, aligned with SCDOR's English/Spanish, audio, testing, proctoring, reporting, certificate-number, and record-retention requirements.

Students and licensees

Who the course is for

The course information is for employees who serve alcohol for on-premises consumption at least 10 hours per week and managers who supervise alcohol service. Until approval is issued, students should use only an approved SCDOR-listed program for compliance.

Certificate workflow

Certificate number issued only after approval and completion

After SCDOR approval and enrollment opening, a student who completes all modules, active time, audio-supported content, knowledge checks, a proctored final test, and a passing score would receive the provider certificate number needed to retrieve the official SCDOR Alcohol Server Certificate through MyDORWAY. The SCDOR certificate is separate from any provider completion record.

Four-hour online course plan

The course information follows the SCDOR checklist and legal supplement themes: South Carolina alcohol laws, impairment science, ID checks, intoxication, refusal skills, DUI and liability, responsible marketing, reporting, certificate integrity, and accountable service culture.

1

South Carolina alcohol server training orientation and online-only course rules

2

Sale and service laws, licensing boundaries, age-related restrictions, and prohibited service

3

4

Recognizing intoxication, preventing over-service, and using manager support

5

Calculating legal age, checking identification, spotting questionable ID, and refusing service to minors

Price-Match Review

Found a lower public price? We will match it.

If you find a lower current public price for a comparable online prep course, send it for manual review before you pay.

Request a price match
If you find a lower current public price for a comparable online prep course with an equivalent practice bank, submit the details before payment for manual review.
Free resources, guides, PDFs, videos, partial simulators, private coupons, expired promotions, bundles, and nonequivalent formats are not included.
The request must include a public verifiable competitor URL that a reviewer can open in an incognito window with no logged-in session, no affiliate code, no coupon code, and no private parameter. Screenshots without a URL, private links, login-gated pages, and bot-scraped prices are not accepted.
Free resources, free government courses, guides, PDFs, videos, forums, partial simulators, study materials, offers without a comparable certificate, offers without comparable reporting, and nonequivalent course formats are not equivalent paid offers for price matching.
The quoted price must be live and publicly available at the time National Course Portal's reviewer opens the URL. If the price changed, expired, or disappeared between submission and review, the request is closed without a match.
Aggregate per-student cap: no more than 2 price matches will be approved for the same student, account, email address, or payment method within any rolling 365-day window, summed across all courses.
Approved matches are valid for 48 hours from the approval notification. If the student does not complete checkout inside that window, the quote expires and a new request with a current verifiable public price is required.
