The course is being prepared for Virginia alcohol sellers, servers, managers, licensees, and hospitality employers who need responsible alcohol service education after Virginia ABC certification. Until certification is granted, students and employers should use only currently certified STAP training options for compliance.
Virginia ABC confirmed that online-only training courses are eligible for STAP certification, but this course is not certified yet. Completion certificates and any STAP certification representation will remain disabled until Virginia ABC issues written certification and the approved launch controls are released.
The course build is being staged around responsible alcohol service, Virginia ABC compliance expectations, reviewer access, and completion records, with final alignment to the July 1 application guide before submission.
