Approval-gated group purchase and certificate-packet flow

This page defines how couples, co-guardians, third-party payers, and certificate reviewers are handled after approval without combining individual learner attestations.

Current status

Prepared for circuit and chief judge review - not yet approved by any Florida judicial circuit

Enrollment, payment, and certificates are closed until a circuit or chief judge approves the provider and course.

Delivery
Review-ready online or live-online packet with English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole 8-hour family guardian and 4-hour minor-property tracks
Approval path
Circuit-by-circuit curriculum submission to court administration, probate division, or the chief judge's designated process. Eleventh Judicial Circuit submissions are accepted on a rolling RFQ basis through the Probate Division Director of Operations.
Planned price
8-hour family guardian (adult ward): $28.95 single, $39.95 for 2 co-guardians, $49.95 for 3 co-guardians. Hardship review available.
4-hour minor-property price
4-hour minor-property guardian (parent of minor): $19.95 single, $29.95 for 2 co-guardian parents. Hardship review available.
Credential need
Needs circuit/chief judge approval and a named qualified instructor. The Eleventh Judicial Circuit RFQ requires courses to be taught by Professional Guardians licensed and practicing for at least 5 years, or by an attorney practicing in guardianship for at least 5 years. Dr. Fadia's MD helps medical/capacity credibility but does not replace the legal/probate instructor requirement.
Lowest price posture

Planned lowest-price posture after circuit approval

The planned guardian prices are lower than the verified public Eleventh Judicial Circuit provider pricing located during the May 19-20, 2026 review. One lower-looking $29 public page was also checked, but it identifies itself as not the court-ordered guardian course; the planned 8-hour price is still below it by $0.05 while keeping approval-circuit matching separate.

Low public non-comparable price check
ACE Classes
$29 public 8-hour guardianship CE page checked May 20, 2026; page states it is not the court-ordered course.

National Course Portal planned 8-hour price is $28.95 after approval, but this reference is not treated as approval-comparable because of the page's own limitation language.

After circuit approval and launch, price-match review is limited to comparable current public Florida guardian certificate courses accepted for the same circuit and track. Checked on 2026-05-19/20 across visible public provider pages and the Florida State Guardianship Association family-guardian provider list. Free court-run, nonprofit, grant-funded, in-person-only, expired, bundled, non-court-ordered CE, or non-certificate offers are excluded. Hardship review remains available case by case.
Group purchase system

Case group purchase with individual guardian completion records

A guardian buyer creates one case group, selects the approved track and number of co-guardians, then invites each guardian to complete under a separate login, attestation, progress record, and certificate line.

Payment stays disabled until written acceptance. The model below is the planned production checkout structure after the applicable clerk, circuit, or chief judge approval path is resolved.
Guardian case group ID

The group ID ties payment, co-guardian invitations, optional case references, learner records, certificate packet generation, and verification together while preserving separate completion records for each guardian.

Checkout flow
Step 1

Choose track and guardian count

The buyer selects 8-hour family/adult ward or 4-hour minor-property, then chooses the number of co-guardian learner slots allowed for that track.

Step 2

Create case group

The buyer enters guardian names/emails and optional case number, ward initials, attorney contact, or nonpublic case reference if the circuit permits those fields.

Step 3

Invite separate learners

Each guardian receives an individual invite link and completes the course under their own attestation and progress record.

Step 4

Generate packet for completed learners

The certificate packet lists the track, group ID, completed guardians, individual completion lines, and verification URL. Incomplete invited guardians remain visible as incomplete in the internal group record.

Shared rules
Enrollment and payment stay disabled until written circuit or chief judge approval or acceptance is documented.
Each guardian has a separate login, identity/attestation record, progress record, and completion timestamp.
The payer can invite or resend invite links, but cannot complete course attestations for a guardian.
The certificate packet belongs to the completing guardian group or individual guardian, not merely to the payer.
Hardship review can reduce or waive a group balance case by case without changing the certificate or completion rules.
Packet contents
Case group ID and track-specific certificate ID.
Payer record separated from guardian completion records.
Track label: 8-hour family/nonprofessional guardian or 4-hour minor-property guardian.
Optional court case number, ward initials, attorney contact, or nonpublic case reference if allowed by the circuit.
Individual completion lines for each completed guardian.
One public verification URL showing course, track, duration, delivery method, completion status, and circuit approval posture.
Edge case handling
Add a co-guardian before certificate issuance: collect the difference and invite the additional learner.
Downgrade 3 co-guardians to 2 before progress starts: refund the difference under the ordinary policy.
Replace an invited co-guardian before either learner starts: support can swap the invite without charge.
Replace a learner after progress starts: support review required so court-facing records stay clean.
One co-guardian never joins: issue only completed learner records when approval rules allow; do not mark the missing guardian complete.
Attorney or family payer requests the certificate: release only the certificate packet and learner records permitted by the enrolled guardian consent and applicable policy.
Hardship approval applies to the group balance without changing the course length, certificate prefix, or individual completion requirements.
