Terms

Texas Hotel Training course terms

These terms describe course-use rules, student responsibilities, and important service limits for the Texas Hotel Human Trafficking Training online experience.

Personal course use

Students must create and use their own account, keep password or connected Google sign-in access secure, and personally complete the course, identity checks, and the final exam.

Accounts are personal and non-transferable. One account is for one person. Sharing login credentials, allowing someone else to log in to your account, or having someone else complete any portion of the course, identity checks, or final exam on your behalf is a violation of these terms and may result in immediate access suspension, certificate revocation, denial of refunds and rebates, and reporting to the requesting court, employer, agency, or regulator. The platform may enforce single-person use through concurrent-session limits, device caps, identity verification, and detection of irregular activity.

Registration, identity, and hotel, employer, or participant reference information when applicable must be accurate, complete, and current. Incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information may prevent completion or certificate use.

Acceptance and no legal advice

Students and employers are responsible for confirming their own hotel-training obligations and retaining the certificate for their records.

The site provides Texas OAG-approved educational training and does not provide legal advice or replace employer-specific procedures.

Course controls and compliance

The course may use seat-time tracking, identity verification, activity controls, final exam controls, and other anti-fraud measures before completion or certificate access is granted.

The platform may suspend or limit access when it detects fraud, account sharing, course-time manipulation, inconsistent identity responses, or any other conduct that puts certificate or regulatory integrity at risk.

Course-material access is not indefinite. After a certificate is issued, study access is limited to 30 days within the applicable access window; certificate verification and retained completion records are handled separately.

Certificates and records

A certificate is issued only after all applicable course requirements are satisfied, including identity verification, required total course time, and a passing final exam result.

The student or employer is responsible for downloading, printing, or retaining the certificate for applicable hotel training records.

Payments and refunds

Course purchases are governed by the posted refund policy. Course access normally becomes nonrefundable after substantial course use, final exam access, certificate issuance, or other material use of the purchased access.

If a student believes a charge is incorrect or an access problem occurred, the student should request support review before starting a chargeback so the issue can be reasonably investigated and, when appropriate, corrected.

Review the refund policy. If you need help with access, records, or a compliance issue, start with the support page.
